This was the second year the guys were asked to play Rockfest, and it was an honor and a privilege. FTF wasted no time in putting the RAWK into Rockfest, with no apologies. The guys hooked up again with friends 3rd Nail Rising, Scilter, and Everything New. A brand new song was debuted live: "Surrender," and the crowd response was great! "Good For Nothing" initially was unplanned. FTF friend and fan Dan Brown requested it specifically and the guys threw it in the set before taking the stage. Instead of the normal "Fade To Black" breakdown at the end of "Never Fade Away," the guys went into the instrumental section of Pink Floyd's "High Hopes," from the "Dviision Bell" record. In turn, they immediately connected this with "Agnus Dei." Midway through the song, they invited all the other bands up to sing it with them and then close out the set. |
