At the last minute, the boys were asked to be a part of a national battle of the bands put on by Hard Rock Live. What better way for FTF to begin their foray into Orlando, FL than by playing one of the largest venues over there? Needless to say, the guys were all a bit intimidated, and rightly so. The other acts had all had the chance to grace the stage at Hard Rock Live, Orlando beforehand. But once the curtain was up, FTF did what they did best: they went straight for the jugular. "With You" was tagged by an opening line from King's X's "Groove Machine," segueing into "I Am Crucified." Photographer extraordinaire Mike Ossola and his cohort in crime, Jared Clemons were on hand to document the entire spectacle. Jared shot a high-def video of "Inject Me," which you by now have seen. The group then debuted "Days Go By," the song they had been working on in the studio with Tommy Platt, to commemorate winning the Rock Solid Pressure showcase contest. The evening was once again rounded out by "Never Fade Away" with the ever-present "Fade To Black" tag. The band ended up losing out to the Chris McCarty Band, but so many friends, family, and fans came out, none of the excitement or fervor of playing a venue that size was lost whatsoever.
